Let’s talk sweet and ornamental corn

    Shopping for Corn

Choose ears that are at least six inches long, solid and plump, and with tight husks. The silk end should be a pale greenish-white. Store corn in its husk in the vegetable drawer; a plastic bag or Canam Fresh packaging will preserve freshness and the great taste longer!

    Nutritional Info

Corn is low-calorie, high-fiber vegetable rich in vitamins and minerals, including vitamins B (B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, B9) and C, plus magnesium, zinc, beta-carotene, thiamin, riboflavin, niacin, iron, phosphorus, and potassium.

    Taste Profile

The natural sweetness of corn is complemented by its crunch when just picked and its creaminess when cooked.
